2. No Account Required

Color Palette Generator does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the service. You can generate color palettes, browse brand colors, and export results without signing up or logging in.

When you generate a color palette, your input (text prompts, uploaded images, or selected colors) is sent to our AI providers for processing. We use:

  • Anthropic Claude — primary AI model for palette generation
  • OpenAI — fallback model for redundancy

Your prompts may be stored temporarily for processing and to improve the quality of generated palettes. Generated palettes are stored in our database to enable sharing via unique URLs. No personal information is associated with stored palettes.

4. Analytics

We use PostHog for privacy-friendly analytics to understand how the service is used. PostHog collects:

  • Page views and navigation patterns
  • Feature usage (e.g., palette generation, export actions)
  • Device type and browser information
  • Approximate geographic location (country level)

PostHog does not collect personally identifiable information. You can opt out of analytics tracking by enabling "Do Not Track" in your browser settings.

We also use Vercel Web Analytics for basic performance and traffic monitoring.
